I live in Izmir Turkey for many years and I play the violin. my father's mother is Armenian. I love Komitas very much. armful of love from Turkey. Down with fascism, down on racism. The value of Komitas was not known enough and he left us in an angry way to this world ..

So nice to hear this!! I’ve known you since you came to my high school my freshman year and I’ve loved watching your group continue to perform, and it’s so nice as an Armenian to hear you playing this music!! I’ll be featuring works by komitas at my junior recital this semester :)
