KOMODO, Indonesia - Ultimate TRAVEL GUIDE Flores, Komodo, & Padar

Komodo is a very special island in Indonesia. It is known for the giant lizards, which still look very much like dinosaurs: the Komodo dragon. But there is much more to see! The landscape is incredibly beautiful, you can climb volcanoes and there are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. In this episode I take you along the most beautiful places of Komodo National Park and show you how you can make this trip yourself from Bali or Flores. From the place Labuan Bajo we go on various tours, we see the Komodo dragons and we swim with giant manta rays!
We are visiting Indonesia during a one year world tour and maybe we will even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, Bahamas, United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar and Thailand. Indonesia is already our seventeenth destination. Follow us on this world trip, first to Bali, the rest of Indonesia and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! Enjoy your videos guys. Just want to clarify - you flew from Denpasar to Flores Island, staying in Labuan Bajo and you did a day trip that included Padar and Komodo Island? Where did you stay in Labuan Bajo? I'm looking to see if I could plan a trip to these islands, spending some time in Bali, want to include Yogyarkata, Lombok (Gillies) and Sumba. Would love to include Raja Ampat but think it would be too difficult.

A problem would be that we use a microphone for speech, but the other ones would normally record not much more than wind or white noise. To really capture good surrounding sounds might be a challenge. A bit more could be an idea though. Thanks for the tip! Hi Kelsey! Yes, this was all planned by ourselves. We just booked a flight from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo and the little hotel we booked online at Booking. The tour was booked at East Cruises. We did that online 😃👍🏻 I think that’s about all you need. And of course use Grab or taxi’s.

Central Indonesia are relatively dry than the other area. There's also imaginary line between bali and lombok called Wallacea line that the animal doesn't cross that border,. So there's distinct animal even though the distance is not that far. Bali and the western region of indonesia have typical asian animal, lombok and the western part of indo have typical australian animal
