The trip of a lifetime in KOMODO NATIONAL PARK, Indonesia! We spend 3 incredible days living on a boat, making 12 incredible stops going for sunrise hikes, snorkelling and of course visiting Komodo National Park to try and see some Komodo dragons. I just went last November I didn’t go to Kelor Island and see the Bats since one of my friend don’t want to live in the boat , so we ( 3 of us ladies)stayed at the hotel in Labuhan Bajo and rented speed boat for a day trip to go to Padar Island, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, Manta Beach and another beach for snorkeling( Kanawa Islad)

Next time if you come back to Indonesia, make sure in the summer so you can get nice weather to see the sunrise/sunset, good visibility to snorkling and dive. Don't come in last September till December because it starts transition to the rainy season

It really was a crazy trip! 🙂 Regarding the food - it was basic, but good 🙂 We mostly had Indonesian dishes, such as fish, shrimps and fried chicken with rice, noodles and some vegetables. Whenever possible the crew also tried to catch fresh fish, which was nice. Overall I'd say the food isn't necessarily one of the main reasons to go, but we never went hungry 😁 It's still a good idea to bring some additional snacks on board, as well as some drinks. And yes, basic snorkelling gear is provided!

Hi, fortunately we didn't have any strong waves and nobody on our boat had any problems with sea sickness. During the night we could feel the waves a little bit, but it wasn't bad. We're not sure if it's always like that, but we at least haven't heard any horror stories from other travellers 😁

Yeah when we went on the tour Captain Komodo's regular boat wasn't available for some reason, so they borrowed the boat from a different tour company. We know that the boat is called "Kanha Natha", but we don't know the name of the other tour company unfortunately!

We filmed this earlier this year in June and the weather was very nice and warm. We had to protect ourselves against the sun a lot, but we enjoyed it! It can get quite warm inside the cabin,, so it's good if you've got windows to open or even AC to cool the room down. Hope you have a great time on your trip! 😊
