And what is that middle contraption your turning nobs on like at 2:41 is that part of your keyboard? or is that a separate item i would need to get as well. you were like doing special rising notes with it which sounded awsome

It controls the parameters of any NI product automatically. That is why the Komplete Kontrol keyboard is so powerful and useful

To the comment below, to each their own, this sounds fantastic and while I could use the stock VST sounds in my regular daw, LOGIC, I much rather enjoy these sounds, I'll be picking up my S49 from guitar center tomorrow or this week and thankfully I've managed to grab KU11 today on the last day of the Sound of Summer sale :) woot. So many sounds I can use with this, honestly, this gives me inspiration to score some gaming clips, I hear Halo written all over this.

How much better is this than the Kontakt factory library? I found a good deal for Komplete 10 (cheaper than Kontakt 5 itself) and I'm thinking is it worth to buy it or buy the Symphony essentials instead?

I looked at the symphony essentials price and its better to upgrade from komplete or just grab ultimate because all broken up would be so much more in price man

Hi I was actually looking to buy the enitre Symphony Series all 3 of them Strings, Brass and Woodwinds, saw this Komplete 11 update as a perfect solution, but it looks like I do not get the full feature, so if I make the Komplete 11 Ultimate update, would I still then need to buy the libraries to get the full functionality ?

+jasperdany you get plenty of functionality from the Essentials. You would have to decide if you needed to update to the Series collection for more features. I don't think it's necessary for most people unless you are doing serious scoring.

To me it really doesn't sound that good. Albion One or other orchestral libraries are far ahead.

It doesn't sound close at all, Albion also gives you percussion and some hybrid-scoring sound design stuff in an extra engine. And Komplete 11 does include a lot of stuff that I don't need - for example 12+ synthesizers. I own one and I can do almost everything with it, I could maybe use a 2nd or 3rd, but I don't need more than 10 new synthesizers. I also don't need some of the effect plugins in K11. So I actually end up paying a lot more for stuff I don't need and will not use, which prevents me from buying K11. They better give the option to chose your own package.

Voider Albion One doesnt come with solo instruments. Symphony Essentials comes with brass and woodwind section and solo instruments. The only thing it doesn't have is solo strings
