Elonas monastery hanging on the mountain clif !!!

We climb the green Parnonas making a stop in the very beautiful village of Kosmas. Then we will go for a pilgrimage to the impressive Holy Monastery of Eloni. It is built on the steep red rock and is one of the most impressive and imposing monuments of Arcadia. Its name is connected with the tradition that inhabitants from the Swamp of Laconia took refuge here, bringing with them the miraculous image of Hodegetria, which is considered the work of the Evangelist Luke.

Many beautiful historical structures and nature settings, my buddy!! The Kosmas trip was wonderful. We appreciated learning about some of the village's history. And that pie looked delectable! The Elian's monastery, on the other hand, was breathtaking.🏞 It was incredible how they constructed it into the rock face. You got some wonderful views of the surrounding mountains from the monastery❤❤ Well done Stelios, excellent presentation!! ❤❤

The tour of Kosmas was lovely. We enjoyed learning about some of the history of this village. And that pie did look delicious! The Elian's monastery was amazing though.
