Simon's Quest is unironically pretty easy tbh. Literally all of the challenge comes from not knowing where to go. At no point will you ever get stuck in that game because a boss is too hard or something, all three of the bosses are basically glorified enemies with how easy they are, it'll always be something cryptic. Really I don't know why people keep asking for that one.

I remember playing this on the nintendo nes emulator a lot. It wasn't hard (which i thought was pleasant compared to contra). What surprised me was how stupidly easy the last level and boss was.

The flamethrower in this one makes me think of the rapid + fire combo in Gunstar Heroes where it shoots a fire ball you can detonate by letting go of the fire button

I have played this game so many times as a kid. I did not even know about the your good way to clear stage 6 until now. Also want to say if you ever play stage 7 on a 2 player game. Prepare to lose a lot of lives by one of the players trolling.

9:15 Last time I played this with a friend, I jumped while he simply walked off the edge. Since the game is trying to keep both players on screen at the same time, it didn't scroll down and *technically* that counted as him falling off a pit and dying. I love Super C.

Also, I never ever thought of Megaman as an extraordinarily difficult game compared to other retro ball busters, always found it to be manageable in terms of difficulty, even Megaman and Bass. It does. 5 stages, in fact. But, it has some unique content, such as the winged Metal Alien which would later be seen in _Contra III._ You could always stream both arcade games together, if you're worried they're too short. (:
