Another legendary duelist! The way that doesn’t happen is if Centurion or Memento get meta-level support cards, if not this set will be absolute trash. But it’s safe to say at least Centurion will get very good support in the near future. It’s clearly the favorite archetype and they’re all waifus, so…

@@JakeLikesJoking actually centurion is not getting any support. bonfire is not much is just rota! bonfire works more with fire kings. each centurion is technically a rota in disguise that special summond to the spelltrap zone! the deck is rogue and is not coming until it gets another or better boss monster other than calamity

@@mannywhiskey7872 It’s WAY too early to say Centurion is not getting any support. The deck just came out in the TCG, of course it’s going to get support, and that support will make it meta in the future. It’s the archetype that has the most potential and highest rarities. The only way this set sells in the coming months is if any of its archetypes become meta contenders, so naturally, Konami will give them support. It only makes sense from a business standpoint. The support could be revealed in the upcoming new core set for the OCG. It’s just silly to say centurion will not get support.

The memento archetype is basically old monsters in their dead/corrupted form. Interesting archetype and hopefully it brings more classic old vanilla monsters to its arsenal.

The idea of the name, Mementotlan, is pretty cool. A little mixture of Latin (memento - remember) and Aztec mythology (Mictlan is the Underworld)...and the artworks match with the idea itself. As You, Ruxin pointed out with the Goblin. The creatures look like they came from the Underworld and their bodies have pieces of fossils...Keep their pieces, remember them and they will join you from the Underworld in your battle.

I loved the Centurion cards from the Valiant Smashers Booster box. It's based on the anime that I like and it's a two-card combo to Calamity lock

I was excited going into this set because I like all the archetypes for some reason or another (neat art and novel ideas in Mementotlan and Vaalmonica) and I was super stoked for Centur-ion because big silly mecha anime theme. Finding out Centur-ion is half the UR slots basically took all the wind out of my sails though, maybe if I can find some cheap boxes I'll try for the awesome looking CR Legatia!

The Mementotlan cards are cool in this set, and I'd definitely like a reprint or two of Call of the Haunted and Terraforming. Fatigue is real though, would rather have Rarity Collection.

The Mementos are cool in concept. They're all based on old vanillas like Dark Blade, Tri-Horned Dragon, Key Mace, Goblin Calligrapher, and a few others.

For the Memento archetype they are all retrains of older, normal monsters: Goblin: Goblin Calligrapher Mace: Key Mace Angwitch: Fairywitch Dark Blade: Dark Blade Tatsunootoshigo: Tatsunootoshigo Horned Dragon: Tri-Horned Dragon Fairywitch and Tatsunootoshigo are the only two normal monsters that never got printed in the TCG

I opened up one box and got a collectors rare! Then I opened up a second box and got another collectors rare and one of the quarter century rare cards in it! Favorite card is definitely that Memento QCSR I pulled! Also, I noticed that the plastic covering and also the pack themselves are much higher quality than the past couple of sets that we just got

While I do not know all the new cards, the Archlord K would be sweet to see and a nice looking card. Agreed with they need a box to fit the packs and it was way too soon. Hopefully they are not doing the same as Magic with product overload.
