Kone Marryat-Scott lift at Topshop, York

This is a rare lift, I think early to mid 1980s build. This is odd to see in a shop which normally uses modern lifts. Old lifts are normally found in small shops or in BHS most of the time.

1984 was the exact year remember this shop being c&a then alders

I remember the logic being glitchy, if you were in the lift when it’s idle with the doors closed, you press door open and the doors would open half way and then immediately close again
