My grandfather lived near a river and he built a water proof wall to keep the river off his property. First he dug a deep foundation trench, then he built the wall and finally he brushed on a thick waterproof film layer to stop the water from entering. inside the fence he had a trench for water to run into a sump that he had a pump in to pump out any water (mostly rain( that got inside the walled area.

Oh gosh Kong that was such a scarey flood but so happy that you rebuilt that bridge and really secured it for those floods you could get. So happy that Bihn is there and you made that delicious looking food, and got to eat it through that flood. so great Kong that you fixed all of those plants from the flood. You are such an incredible worker and really do a great job building and fixing things. Gente não construa suas casas muito próximo aos rios e fontes , deve se pensar nas chuvas antes de construir. Eu vejo em muitos canais eles tem a opção de construir um pouco mais longe, mas fazem questão de fazer suas casas dentro dos rios e depois vem as enchentes e destrói tudo. Kong & Nath, sesungguh lokasi ini tdk aman untuk anda membuat sesuatu dipinggir sungai, untuk kesekian kali nya nya mengalami hal ini dan anda sudah menghbiskan uang anda dengan sia2 saja. Saya berharap untuk anda Kong untuk lebih memperhitungkan segala sesuatu dgn kemungkinan2 resiko nya. Kong es de esas tierras y sabe perfectamente lo que sucede con el río cuando en esos lugares llueve tanto, pero él dale con construir dentro del mismo río y lo peor con palitos que el río se lleva muy facilmente. NO LO ENTIENDO.

Место для домика выбрано с моей точки зрения плохо, правильно пишут люди, что у них проходной двор: люди ходят через мост, дети постоянно купаются, голдят, шумят, громко разговаривают, общем живут как на вулкане. Вода постоянно шумит, вокруг все заливается водой, когда идёт дождь, общем место не хорошее.

Poor kong he have to do evrything always from zero .and why ?becaous he listen to nobody he is a dreamer he just folow his heart but the realite is tough you have to use your exprience from your mestaks and dont mak the seam mesteak now you was luky the bridge and the hut on water you build thye survieved but as long as you dont make the pilaar in water strong with beton or iron next time you might not be so luky

It's terrible what you go through with every downpour I wouldn't have the patience to constantly put money in a flood area this is not a place for people to live. You have already invested so much in this area and it still threatens you and your family. It's like sitting on a bomb. CONSTANTLY THREATENED!!! I admire you there neither day nor night is safe this is real Survival. How much determination do you have for these floods and you constantly live in fear. Yes it was a bad flood again but I am sure they are looking at the positive things and move forward. Like their family survived, their home and buildings are unharmed, they can salvagea lot of their crop and most important is his new bridge survived. The very best to you two.

thankful that the bridge and your house were not affected. hope the plants/crops recover after the flooding. suddenly craving 'combo' what we call of similar version of the sweet potato but used sliced ripe saba bananas. going to try this with sweet potato.

oh please people the only thing Kong lost was the fish they just bought and the lotus plants .. and his little pond probably filled in with dirt and gravel . as for the crops in the field they are watermelons they will be fine they like wate r
