These new images are to die for and after this video I'm especially looking forward to finding out what creature could be waiting to fight Kong in that snowy environment whether it's Godzilla or something else, also I'm really looking forward to finding out the main reason with the strange dome like cage that they're keeping Kong trapped in. I’m really not picking a fight but I think either Kong wins or no one wins because it would be way to obvious if Godzilla wins and that doesn’t really make for a good movie. In the trailer they said that Godzilla was killing people and they didn’t know why so I think he is somehow “brainwashed”, if that makes any sense. It’s like the hulk in age of ultron (when he is brainwashed by Scarlett witch). I’d make sense if they find a cure and that Kong and Godzilla have to fight a common enemy in the end (mecha Godzilla???) in a “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” kind of way.

It does get a little repetitive, Godzilla in 2014 beat the odds, then again beat even greater odds in 2019, if he does so again it’s like where does he even go from here? He’s already on top, the only way is down, or sideways. There is also always the risk of constant world ending catastrophes dulling the shock factor. It would be nice if the next movies were more adventure, discovering things, rather than another climax, you get me?

When you asked about the snowy place and whatnot that the humans had to let go of Kong, it reminded me of Godzilla: Final Wars were the big G is trapped in tons and tons of snow and ice. Now I don’t think that Godzilla is necessarily trapped in the ice, but I think he’s probably somewhere down there and they’re just dropping him off there to Serizawa “Let them fight!”. Although I think Serizawa would want Godzilla to win this fight!

I have a slight suspicion that the initial reason Kong was brought away from Skull Island was so that he and Gia would be negotiator team between humans and Godzilla because both of them are the only communication bridge left after the ORCA is destroyed. Then this whole rivalry thing was researched by the humans AFTER the first encounter of the 2; after this point, they decided that the only feasible solution was to try take down Godzilla; they searched for the Axe because using another Oxygen Destroyer would be too catastrophic when Godzilla is targeting settlements.
