Juvenile Skullcrawlers are easily distinguishable from adults. Their heads are smaller and more sloped. They also possess a more prominently brown skin tone. Adult Skullcrawlers are much larger, with most being almost the same size as Kong. Their heads are more defined, larger, and somewhat angled. Their tails are armed with a form of a club that can be used as a weapon, and they also have distinct bone-like spikes protruding from their elbows.

-Kong in this film was a teenager. -the scene with the spider is disturbing when you realize that spider (the Mother Longlegs) didn't just stab him through the mouth, but was feeding on him as well, and he was still alive. -Kong hates the Skullcrawlers because he actually watched as his parents were torn apart by them as soon as he was born (in the Birth of Kong comic). -The small skullcrawlers were in a constant state of starvation because they had extremely high metabolisms. It was so bad that the Monarch scientists classified them as "hypervores".

I think the movie would have been better if they cut Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and that Monarch woman out and go for a more Band of Brothers type movie with the Nam soldiers, Marlow and Packard were great in this and if they focused a bit more on Rander and the other guy his death would have been more emotional, just spit balling what ifs.
