I dont understand why some people are saying they ruined the movie, they are trying to make money. We had Mad Max (awesome movie, fan saw it but did not make enough money for a sequel), Godzilla (serious movie again fan went to see it did not make enough money) Now, they are trying something different to appeal to a much larger audience fanboy are complaining... Listen your opinion matter if you wanted a serious movie with less jokes you should have supported Mad Max. I love this trailer, because I know they are jokes to balance the seriousness of the movie.

The movie doesn't look like it will have as much humor as the trailer makes it look. It seems they took these slightly humorous lines from t he film itself and force them into the trailer to make it look like this will be a more light hearted movie than Godzilla. The lines weren't really that funny anyway.

Not sure where you're getting these facts. Mad Max: Fury Road and Godzilla (2014) were both highly successful box office hits and both have planned sequels in the works. Godzilla 2 is planned to release March 22, 2019. Godzilla VS King Kong in May 29, 2020. And the Mad Max sequel is currently in script development with Miller having stated that it's definitely going ahead at the beginning of this year.

2017, memories. I enjoyed this movie alot as I did with Godzilla 2014 before I also enjoyed GvK back in 2021 unlike the fandoms of Godzilla and King Kong, and besides it's also honestly fine by me if enjoying The New Empire in March would make me lose my privileges of being a fan of both Godzilla and King Kong since they're both equally my faves after all, plus Powerscaling just ain't my style lol. 2:15 That Skull Crawler jumpscare tho' caught me off guard XD lol.
