And of course in the meantime he's become super radio active from his time with the nuclear reactor, so if he did decide to sleep it off he would irradiate the entire city. Sorry. It's just a terrible movie.

The vast majority of the comments on this video are bots with mundane, cookie cutter compliments. "I love Godzilla". The truth is that this movie is simply terrible. All CGI to the point of being a cartoon. Like a cartoon, no one really dies easily, including the little Kong who gets tossed around and beaten down by several much larger foes but survives without a scratch. Stupid plot. What a betrayal of what used to be decent franchises. Not worth the 6 bucks I paid to stream it.
