To clarify, YB is a Japanese (Dark) Samus main who was known to be insanely good but basically never competes in tournaments. During his one and only appearance at a tournament in Ultimate at Prime Saga, he tore through several top players to reach 13th overall. Considering the guy only plays wifi for practice, he makes a good argument for being the best Samus.

I'm a Peach player and going versus Samus is impossible most of the times. She's a good spacer peach can't barely touch, fast and heavy enough not to be sent flying away. I just do my best when I encounter a Samus player online but still I know he will win.

I’m a peach main as well and I find it that most samus go for the same attacks, so as long as you can figure out their attack patterns, peach has a good way to counter most. Especially air attacks, using toad is very helpful.

Another thing would be, keeping your distance from samus, they tend to be long distance fighters, so if you stay away, they’re forced to get closer which is when you strike at them. 🤷🏻‍♂️ that’s just my experience with most samus players. I was playing yesterday and i took out a samus in a 3 stock mode with only one life left. 😬 depends on the user really

The thing about Peach is that her fighting kit doesn't offer much options to combat heavy projectile users. She has no reflect, nor is she fast like Fox/Captain Falcon, who can overwhelm them by constantly closing the distance.

Scrubs in sports and fighting games cant tell how good someone is by looking which is 100% the best method for deducing a players/teams skill. Results/team record requires context. Simply looking at a player/team simply requires a person be good enough at the sport/game to analyze how well a team/gamer executes Hence most smash players are casual scrubs. Ive been in the FGC for almost 20 years amd Smash is literally the only community that uses results to determine a player's skill. Its 100% the trait ir casuals, scrubs, or both

Your talking about scrubs but it’s obvious you too are a complete random and likely don’t know shit about the game. I doubt you’ve even seen more than 5 full sets from each of these players. Also every fucking game uses results to measure skill lmao. There are no “top 50 players that look the most skilled” rankings out there? The reason is because it’s completely subjective and lots of bias and external factors can come into judging something. For example, looking at gameplay you could probably make the argument that lingling is better than samsora because lingling is much better at doing flashy combos, but it’s obvious when you look at results that lingling isn’t even close to as good as samsora. Or in s4 you easily could’ve made the argument that Lima, mistake, and zack were better than Tweek because they played way more flashy and confidently despite the fact that Tweek clearly was the best results wise. Judging skill by “looking” is ultimately going to come down to what you value mixed in with bias, and simply not having the ability to understand what’s going on in each player’s head at the time. It’s not reliable, and I certainly doubt a random no name like you or me is going to be analytical enough to so clearly observe who is more skilled despite both players having similar results.
