This song is some seriously sweet and sorrowful sh!t for me personally. My Grandfather played the Dobro (mix of banjo and guitar) and the steel guitar which you see at 2:42. He played the Grand Ole Opry as a backup musician and when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's music was the one thing that could snap him back to clarity. I showed him this song and he liked the video even though he thought it was "a bit strange" But when he saw the steel guitar he perked right up, and after listening for a few seconds he went "Wow....the kid can play!" and asked for us to pull his out. He played for nearly 45 minutes that day and was lucid for hours...will not forget that or this song because of that!!
