Thank you for the video, it's great info. What is "animation data" and "movie data" and the purpose of these files? I'm new to laser printing, and got a Bizhub C558. Can I put an SSD instead of an HDD on the machine to get greater speeds? Thanks

Hi. I need to wipe my HDD on K-M C308. Should I re-install firmware after that? I dont need animations on it. I need only print, scan and copy avaibility... Where could I get FW from? Thanks

so what is the role of that hard drive, i see that it works without as well?!! what is stored on that hdd?

if you send large files to the printer it uses the hard drive to process them without the hard drive you can print small documents but large documents will fail

And you have User boxes, where you can store print jobs with all settings. You can then just select it and print it exactly as you did before without any process time. That's how I use it.

You need the HDD for networking and printing and scanning. Specially if you have a color machine like a C454 it would give you a memory full error when trying to get multiple jobs printed.

Hi sir. I have a Konica Bizhub C266 with only SSD. After I reset using service mode, I mistakenly turned on the HDD option. After I reboot the machine, it is now stuck on the loading screen and doesn't get past to it. I tried doing the trouble reset but it only get stucked on the loading screen. Is there a solution for this? Many thanks.
