Bird page: Check that colors are even and that there are no streaks or spots. If black/gray shows some discoloration, there is an imaging unit, drum, or developer that is at the end of its life cycle or is defective. Gradations should have a crisp, solid transition with no marks. Halftones should have solid coverage without voids or marks. If there are problems, the imaging unit is a possible culprit. Note: run halftones at a lower density, 50-125, as the higher coverage shown in the video can obscure issues. Image issues on every print usually come from transfer belt or fuser. Pull part out and see if mark matches. Note that regularly, closely spaced marks, as in the video, hint at their origin due to the spacing. It corresponds to the circumference of the roller (or drum, as the case might be). Clean sensors of transfer belt with dry rag to ensure proper color distribution. Belt should be smooth and shiny with no lines. If there are divots, they will show up on prints, repeating at longer intervals than image issues due to drums or fuser. Make sure print head glass is spick and span. Clean periodically with wand. Inspect drum for streaks or marks. If developer is low, then there will be voids on the image. Black developer should have strong, black coverage. Voids are a problem. If nothing works, do a stabilization and initialization. Ensure that paper is properly loaded and set.

Hi, this is very helpful. If you don't mind I have a question. I have konica Minolta c227 I recently changed my black tonner. And it has been printing fainted black text. What could be the problem? I have called maintance guy ,changed charge roller, drum ,chip...could it be the tonner?

Does bizhub line require "laser compatible paper" or it can work with inkjet paper aswell? I've heard that if you use a coated paper that is not designed for laser the coating can melt and damage the fuser. BTW what paper is that? Thanks for the great video!

saludos tengo un problema y que al momento de querer calibrar mi maquina konica minolta c287 me sale un mensaje arriba que me dice que la estabilizacion no es buena y no me deja hacerla osea no puedo pasar a la siguiente etapa que es donde dice printer no me deja. creo que es por el mensaje que me pone arriba aque se debe esto. yo cambia la banda de tranferencia quee staa dañada. y aun asi sigue con el problema. pense que esta era la causa-
