I got the same camera from a thrift store lately after some research I found out it was produced in 1937, It’s a masterpiece.

Thankyou for uploading this! I've recently come into possession of a pearlette but the back seems stuck, even after pulling the slider as instructed. Do you have any tips on getting it unstuck?

maybe the latch mechanism is stuck. Try gently pulling the back to see if it lets go.
