Brahman Thaalam poda... (Konjum Salangai) this Classical Dance competition song was composed by S.M.Subbaiah Naidu and sung by Choolamangalam Sisters. Kavingar Ku.Ma.Balasubramaniam who wrote various Pathams for Professional Classical Dancers like Thiruvacore sisters Padmini and Sai Subbulakshmi and others, has composed this lyric to describe about various classical Thaalams (Rhythms) Sathusram, Thisram, Misram, Kandam and Sangeernam to the tune. Kumari Kamala and Kusala kumari performed this excellent Dance with traditional aesthetic values. Great work directed by M.V.Raman in 1962.
