This show is seriously lacking for little to no reason. Especially Konnan and DIs host capabilities these guys have been way off their game for like 3 straight months. I still love the show don’t get me wrong but god damn guys wrestlemania night 2 was April 2nd you’re bold to not watch it for this amount of weeks when u do a weekly wrestling podcast. Other podcasts and radio shows take the approach where one person speaks, then another, then another coming together to form a conversation. Randy doing that at that time made sense for his character and everyone agreed to do the segments. Plus the payoff was worth it when Rey won in the end. DIsgusting heat to me is referencing super personal things that have nothing to do with the actual storyline. Like when Paige mentioned Charlotte's brother Reid's death in the go home show to their feud. Nothing called for that and it didn't add to the feud in any capacity

my only real issue with the finish is that it didn't lead into a Solo Sikoa vs Cody Rhodes feud, that would have been a more realistic follow up. Apart from that, I loved it.

Cody hasn’t done anything to Warrant defeating Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania. To be honest he didn’t even deserve to be in the Main Event. If he can stay healthy for a year and manage to string a few decent fueds together then perhaps he can try again next year. Right now, all he really has is that he’s Dusty’s Son. His AEW run means absolutely nothing at all.

I thought the Solo finish worked to perfection (Other than Cody wondering to the corner) but the move isnt used very often. The crowd is use to if a guy is ejected, they are gone...so the viewer believed Solo is gone due to the ejection and the uso's are taken out by Owens and Sami....everyone believe it's a fair 1 on 1, but because they are the heels....the rules of an ejection shouldnt really matter...as long as you dont get caught.

Jim called it disgusting heat that is on the company for not reversing the finish or restarting the match because Solo got involved in the end after being ejected from ringside. They should've had Roman hit Cody with a low blow or Brass Knuckles while Heyman was distracting the referee. That would've kept the heat on The Heels that were still allowed in the match at the end.

The point is, people keep talking about "The story hasn't played out, the story has played out." Well man, it's not 1970 anymore. People aren't "Damn! He almost had him! But next time he'll have the cage, and those guys can't interfere!" It's "Oh look, the same bullshit as the last 7 events. Why the fuck should I even care?" WWE killed Kayfabe, and then they try to book like there is still Kayfabe. This isn't Dusty chasing Flair. Those days are dead and gone. Why am I gonna watch for another year? When Raw is too god damn long and Wrestlemania is waaaaay too god damn long. Hours and hours and hours out of my life, to the point where it's not a hobby anymore, it's a fucking investment. I wanted it to be Drew at the Castle. It wasn't, so I'm barely invested. WWE thinks they can brute force Roman into a "Legend" spot, and you can't. All I'm seeing is another HHH reign of terror. Long boring promos, endless interference. Endless "this is it!" but no it isn't. Why should I care? WWE comes out and says "Don't worry folks, it's all bullshit. Calm down, it's all bullshit." constantly....and then they expect me to be emotionally invested? To spend the time, and the money, watching all these long, boring shows. With maybe 3-4 matches worth seeing? ANd that's a big fucking maybe. Roman has been in the position where he can launch someone, and make a career. But they think they can keep milking it. Vince thought he could milk it with Lugar, killed Lex dead. Sure, the diehards will watch forever. But does anyone want to see Cody, or anyone else, fail and fail and fail and fail until finally they pull it off because WWE wants Roman to have the belt for some arbitrary amount of days?
