This film has everything; music, writing, humor, editing, thrills, interviews are wonderful, information, gorgeous photography, relevant, sympathetic first person narration; something for everyone. Very respectful and humorous. Thank you for this gift of a short film. So much respect given to the mountain in your story-telling. It shines. Just beautiful.

Good documentary, thanks! If you look at Mt. Konocti while traveling from Lower Lake to Kelseyville the outline resembles a sleeping maiden. This was pointed out to me when I moved here.

I miss my home. I've experienced some crazy things growing up in Kelseyville on single springs Rd and Bottle Rock/Brower Ln. From Spirits, UFO's( just like the last guy on here talking about the UFO... Triangular in shape HUGE and with brighter lights at each point with smaller lights in between. And in-between the lights were symbols. No sound , and moving very very slow...right above me slowly moving towards Cobb mountain. That happened in 95 or 98 ? I can't remember but it was crazy to experience that) Nessy, hearing strange sounds at night, orbs of light following me which had been captured even in the pictures I've taken. You name it and it's all there surrounding Mt. Konocti . I do miss my home... It's calling me back. I do want to say ... That was great research on all of this. You deserve more ratings and more views. I have tried doing my own research but didn't get close to finding all those tv reports and how in the world did you find that hole/cave. Very impressive to say the least. You did a great job.

When I was child we lived in Clear lake. I used to see little people all the time but they DIDN’T look like what we call little people now and they were much smaller remember like it was yesterday now I have some insight as to why I used to see them even though I think my family thought I was crazy as a child or just had a great imagination not sure which one 😂

This is so sick awesome to see people finally making quality videos on the area and actually diving into it I can really appreciate a quality video people can now watch when they look into coming to lakecounty having grown up hearing the stories I’ve always just wanted to assemble a team and just go search for a way in the mountain and in the creek in kelseyville it goes from 5’ to 25-30’ deep with walls of clay and slides carved in clay goin from the shore aswell as being littered with arrowheads and a location of a supposed child eaten by a large catfish with no eyes long time ago I tried messaging adventure twins who were interested in finding a way to explore the cave but I think they gave up caves are too unstable probly flooding and volcanic gases so basically hardcore level 😂

How ever long an area has been occupied by humans, there is a question of how often was the population has been changed out by invading other groups, and how often the area was abandoned and then rediscovered. The people there now have no direct DNA connection to the people there a thousand and more thousands of years

man.. I used to watch old Sundog documentaries in high school, back in the 70s and 80s.. on rain days, the teacher would roll out the projector and show these old reels of film that had been shown countless times throughout the years.. granted, the older films are more in depth since it used to be easier to gain access to hidden and less traveled paths.

I witnessed a similar phenomenon December 25th 2022 over Chico California which is about 2 hours due north east of Clear Lake. After doing extensive studying about this phenomenon that I witness for about 4 to 5 minutes, I was able to conclude that it is a phenomenon called ball lightning that has been documented since humans have been documenting their time. I thought it was a drone at first until I was able to get out my binoculars and really asphyxiated on this orange circular electro ball looking thing that I witnessed in the sky.

I had this weird thing happening for a few months where I kept seeing white flashes moving hella fast. Being a glasses wearer, I thought I was just catching glares, but it seemed to be more than that. Some days it wouldn't happen at all, some days dozens of times. Then there was the main event, and I swear on my life this happened. I finished cleaning in a room far away from the main buildings, and isolated in darkness, and I saw dozens of the white flashes I had been seeing, but instead of darting off like normal, they were swirling and bobbing in a cluster about 100 yards away in the grass. As I stood there, dumbstruck, they broke away, half to the left, half to the right and formed a circle around the building I was at. They were moving impossibly fast, and a sense of terror came over me. I ducked back inside and hid, I didn't know what to do. When I poked my head out about 20 minutes later, there was nothing but moonlight and cold air.
