Fun Fact about the Tsar Bomb: The pilot who dropped it immediately started flying as fast as he could with the bomber craft so he wouldn't get caught in the blast radius and die, but the Tsar bomb was so powerful that he still nearly died. Also the original nuke was meant to have double the explosive power, but the Russians feared that they would accidentally END THE WORLD. Just lovely.
