If you watch the game as a neutral you'll realize it was a beautiful advert for African football, top notch tactics from both managers and extremely entertaining football game but as a Nigerian if I am understanding finidi's football correctly, boniface is the perfect striker for it, so finidi must accept a lil blame but he really impressed me in some other stuff, I am angry and not angry at the same time, up naija 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Until u give them a coaching job n say coach the team n win then u will see them looking like fools tht they are , the first one is tlkng abt how he should more stickers aftr scoring the equalizer simply because he's thinking abt Nigerian's attack not all those dangerous bafana Bafana counter attack, if u open at the back bafana will dribble tht ball all the way into the bck of the net

Those who watched hoghlight would agree South africa was dominating Nigeria souch that the refeer and lineman were fighting too.many occurances Ref misplay S.A.otherwise it normal for west african countries to expect win by force instead of tactic and skill.Lukaman was humbled by Modau a great left wig solid as difender

@@AmusaOlaMy bro, ask him what happen to Mudau when Lookman almost scored with that last minute coil, if not for SA goalkeeper they would be crying by now. When you say he was humble should mean that Lookman was not in the game but we know that is a lie, because Mudau normally use to fly around in that wink to cross ball but that did not happen in the match.

Nice analysis by some of this guys.The team was lethargic in the first half.The were distabised by the level of synergy and ball movement of the south Africans.Also we did zonal marking instead of man to man marking which will be effective against a quick transition team like South Africa.The team structure was really hampered by lack of positioning and commitment of Kelechi,Osayi Samuel and Onuachu.Kelechi and Moses Simon are a major reason for so many of our failure over the years.The play for themselves and never a team player but becos they are good sometimes people don't see the wrong team spirit they bring.Onuachu tried his best but stage freight prevented him from fully performing.Ndidi and Iwobi were all over the field.I have never seen iwobi played as good as that for the national team.He is exceptional except for last minute wrong decision made twice.Osayi plays big man football and goes too deep leaving his position behind to suffer.most time.if we are playing 5 back he can play that way but not when it is 4.l will suggest the homebase guys to play 2 and 3 in the next game.Ademola tried but didn't get much decoy like Osihmen used to give him in the game.odinaka is better in the midfield than onyeka and hassan.Hassan can replace iwobi or Dele.Dele played well.He can be used as false 9 or 8 to the main striker.It was a better eagles than what we have seen in a long while but we need win to accompany the good game.They were able to spring 5 -6 passes together frequently unlike managers that we have had in the past.They should be ruthless against Benin and win like 6:0 to put fear in the other teams and put smile back on our cheek

Iwobi well played and the rest of the team did wonderful well the coach played politics with this team selection

Please calm down. The South Africans are not push over; they were very fast and aggressive. They came with a mentality not to loose. Thus almost all their players defended together making scoring against them very difficult. Their goalie also very good. We had to play a more open game because we needed to score and win. Thank God Dele bashiru scored the equaliser. Now. My question to the head coach is " why not substitute Onuoachu very early?"

Big question.......why play Onuachu for so long. He didn't use the balls worked for him.

That's my problem with most of our local coaches. They are very slow to react and make drastic decisions to improve the teams chances of victory. Onuachu wouldn't have been on the pitch for the second half if finidi knew what he was doing. Yet he left him for almost 80 minutes before substituting him. Too bad.

Thank God we didn't lose, it would have been a different story. The line up was not good. Especially upfront.

Paul Onuachu was great! I disagree wholeheartedly with any complaints about his performance. He did very well.

They played Iheanacho out of position. It was a bad tactic. Onuachu should have left immediately after first half.

Finidi was part of Peseiro's coaching crew. Finidi is just backwards thinking. Ihenacho is not supposed to be in Super Eagles
