They were based in Austria, but Agata is from Poland. I'd go more Guano Apes than Skindred though. It's been a while since they put out an album.

Dutch!? No way, the Netherlands are flat. Kontrust is Austria, but Agata, the female vocalist is originally from Poland. Funny enough your Dutch guess is not of that far. They got a great fan base in the Netherlands and two of their former tour managers are living in the Netherlands as they former drum tech.

Saw them on a pre-show from Volbeat last year, i think they are great. It's a completely different style of rock, cause i get a reggea style feeling adding to the rock, but im into that

It's all supposed to sound silly. They have different songs as well (albeit a lot of other songs like this one). No offense but when you said "is this a joke?" I was screaming "YES!" at my screen lol. The music video is meant as satire to mock old Austrian folk music from the countryside that our grandparents would listen to. The song obviously does not fit the music at all. And they are a crossover band (like someone pointed out below), so they aren't really a metal band, just mixing it with different styles (reaggie, hip hop,...) and having fun with it all. PS: It's kinda funny because Americans always say Germans (granted we're Austrians, but still) have no humour lol. And when you guys watch something that was obviously meant as a joke and it's laughing your ass off, you assume it was meant serious haha PPS: Didn't like your dismissive attitude tho. They have millions of views on youtube and are headline pretty big festivals in Europe, you know? Don't judge a book by its cover.

Ticket sales don't mean it's good. Beiber sells millions of records. Doesn't mean he's talented or good. Just means there's a lot of stupid people out there
