WELCOME HOME, the Kontrust debut was released in 2005 and three records later, this world knows from which European country the hottest Crossover of the present days is coming! EXPLOSITIVE is the fourth album by the Austrians and has everything that this music needs: rapid rhythms, catchy slogans, brutal guitars and angular riffs. The thing most of the commenters don't seem to realize about Kontrust is that they do this on purpose! They make these ridiculous videos, wear silly clothing, make silly faces and do crazy dances because of the incredible juxtaposition with their music, which is metal. It's supposed to be weird and funny, and I think they do an incredible job with it! I love Kontrust's videos!

i think its actually the funniest thing about kontrust how metalheads take offense of their fusion with metal elements and being signed to a metal label as if it was sakrileg. Guys, its music! there are no rules, you can't obligate someone to not use metal influence cause it would take away the genres "brutal" reputation. lighten up, its entertaining and they put on a good show. i respect napalm for allowing such weirdness along their artists, giving them the freedom to go for some experimental stuff, even though its definetly not everyones cup of tea. but i rather see a label supporting them then the 1000. generic boring shit that you have heard of several other bands before. have a good day and listen to artists you DO enjoy instead ;)

What unintentionally comes across is: People might critique traditional dancing because it looks "silly". But in fact, it requires a lot of skill, practice and discipline. It's hard work. When done to a highly level, it is very impressive! The irony is that the people who may critique tradition dance as "lame" probably dance like idiots in the clubs, thinking that they're cool. I know the video is a surreal celebration of Polish/Austrian culture. However, I do believe there's a subtext (unintentionally) of pointing out the hypocrisy of people who mock traditional dancing.
