Is there no end to the world-class tenors from Korea? Just when I think that the last one I heard just had to the best, then I hear Konu Kim, and I sit in absolute astonishment!

The answer is simple. The smartest nation (i.e. highest national IQ) are the Koreans. Smart people like the best music. And secondly East Asians males have voices pitched a couple tones higher than Caucasians. So these arias with the High Cs and Ds that are so difficult for Europeans are relatively easy for Koreans, Japanese, and Han Chinese. The same thing happens at the bottom of the scale. Black males have a normal vocal pitch a couple tones lower than whites. Think of all the great low speaking voices of black actors like James Earl Jones, Dennis Haysbert, or Morgan Freeman.

@@Agorante ????? Except all the Koreans such as this one in the video sing with no feeling and with an unnatural timbre. If they are so smart why can none of them sing like Gigli or Caruso? This guy sounds like Kermit. East Asians actually have a larger overall vocal tract than other races as well

Just Astounding !!! No one could sing that aria more beautifully . What amazes me is beautiful continuous fluidity of gorgeous sound and evenness from the bottom to the completely solid top of the voice .
