I sincerely wish these companies do not have to release a new phone every 11months. They seem to have peaked and there's almost nothing interesting about these new devices. Most of the "new so called features powered by AI" will also be available for the older models. Imagined what it would look like looking forward to a new device every 2-3years. Is there a reason for the yearly release you reviewers can tell us that we don't know about? Seriously, I would really love to know 😂

I’m getting the ultra after a ton of going back and fourth. I’ve never had that good of cameras and always gotten the base models for price and size, but I really want great pictures and I just don’t get those in the base. Regarding why the plus doesn’t sell is because the like you said the camera specs are not any different- if they would give it at minimum of a better zoom and a tiny bit better cameras I bet that would sell for those that don’t care about the s-pen. I know I would buy it! That 25 Edge looks promising…but it’s not a for sure in the US market 😢

I bought the Ultra twice, the S23 Ultra and the S24 Ultra but didn't use them because of size. I always ended up selling them and buying the base S23 and S24. In fact, my S24 main camera was better than the Ultra. Right now I'm having the base S25 and it fits so well.

The plus is faster charging than the S25, and for Verizon customers the S25 tops off at 256GB, whereas the S25+ can get 512GB of storage. So faster charging, bigger screen, higher resolution with upscaling (not available on S25) and more storage made the S25+ the choice for me. Wish they could have added a camera upgrade but the improvements to image processing compensates for some of that. Like the form factor in my S23 better, but the S25+ is only about 22 grams heavier and 12mm taller, strangely enough it is actually thinner which makes one handed use not as horrible. The ultra feels significantly different, it is longer, wider, and heavier than the plus. So the S25+ is actually not a horrible compromise.

The main thing is that Samsung makes the ultra the full experience of the series. For that reason I take the Ultra every time. But I agree that the Plus is the weird middle child. Like choosing between small, medium and large popcorn bucket at the movies.

I couldn't understand how the Ultra was better in photos and videos since you couldn't show them side by side. But as for me the base S25 is what I'm watching this video on because of its proper fit in hand. And I ordered it with Samsung's anti reflective coating that gives you the same result as gorilla armor.

Samsung is pushing Ultra as real flagship. Regular and plus model are just crippled to make Ultra look more "ultra". Poor tactics...

I been us the S25 Ultra now for the last 5 days... Im returning it for the S25Plus! The Ultra is still bulk, thick and heavy. The s25 Plus is perfect screen size and has everything the Ultra has except the Cameras and pen. The pics are not that much different unless your taking shots from far distances. Maybe Samsung will eventually realize no one wants to carry a tablet around

I ordered ultra, because I seriously/extremely/aggressively HATE the round corners of the screen. I saw that square screen can't be forced on games in the smaller models. Otherwise, I would have taken + because of the faster charger.

It's literally the most advanced and high end consumer phone on the market. There's about 50 other phones for less than half the price that are still completely overpowered for KZbin, social media, texting, etc. The problem is not the price bracket. It's that these companies have convinced us that it's normal to buy $1000+ flagship devices for watching funny videos and looking at pictures on the internet. Plenty of budget options if you can't afford it.
