Completely agree with your stance on the program. One of the reasons I got into MLB is the chance to get good players within the program, and not a "pay-to-win" type model. I hope this is corrected because it would suck if they went that route.

But even if SDS is like "We tried something, you guys didn't like it" why the hell would they ever think we'd like it in the first place? I don't think it has to do with "trying" anything, it's all how much money can they squeeze out of people willing to pay. Taking a program that was always consistently a celebration of moments in the ongoing season being turned into something half shit and half grossly monetized was NEVER going to be received well, and I doubt they're going to be willing to change anything.

I was very disappointed w/ sds when I saw the season 1 cards were only pack cards. They hyped it on thier stream then slap us in the face. Not a good look, when they still haven't fixed all the broken pitchers and broke some others with thier patch. But hitting is in a semi solid place. I'd say excellent if they would figure out how to punish ppl for just early swinging at every pitch and getting 9 fouls every at bat until you mess up your pitch.
