Kookaburra and Eucalyptus - Watercolour Painting WIP

Today we come to the end of my kookaburra painting journey, capturing a sweet moment in the life and world of such a gorgeous and iconic Australian bird, resting amongst this gum tree awash with such soul feeding yellow... and Ive put together this little clip of this intricate, realistic bird painting or illustration coming together, to share more with you here.
'Kookaburra and Eucalyptus' is 28x36cms in size, rendered in watercolour.
Excitingly, I actually painted this artwork with my very OWN brand of 'Heidi Willis' paintbrushes which we're fabulous to use, and I am thrilled to be able to offer these brushes to you guys now too. Details to order are on my website home page so check this out sometime!
I have thoroughly enjoyed picking away at this study and I appreciate every one of you for following along with me here as I worked.
