This is part 1 of "Kool & the Gang: Hot & Kool" (MP049-22MP), a great early live concert by Kool & The Gang in Aladdin Theater for Performing Arts (AKA Zappos Theater) in Las Vegas, with this edit only released to the Japanese market on LaserDisc.
Having been recorded on June 17th, 1981, just a couple months before their "Something Special" album was released, Kool & The Gang were about to hit the peak of their revitalized line-up featuring James Taylor as their smooth talking, energetic lead vocalist.
Enjoy this truly exciting & funky performance!

Love Kool and The Gang still today 2023, I miss J T at the Alm. I wish they would plan a reunion concert I know some of the originals have past it would still be good to see the rest together.!!!
