I love Kool and The Gang. Their song, "Celebration" is still played at games, etc. quite often. They were one of the first African American groups to cross the barrier from R&B radio to the major pop stations.

I don't know how many times I have danced to this at the nightclub in the 80's. The dance floor was always full when this came on lol. My toes were tapping and my husband remembers me dancing in my kitchen while dinner was cooking, that was before we were married lol. I always had music playing in my kitchen, it kept me happy lol.
