And here we have, boys and girls, what's called MUSIC. It roamed the Earth long ago, as beautiful as anything humanity had seen, when melody and rhythm moved people's inner souls in joyful, uplifting harmony. Then came a giant feces asteroid called "gangsta rap", obliterating the concept of music being harmonious food for the soul, replacing it with non-singers merely speaking childish dialogue into a microphone about ghetto life, money and "hoes" for pretentious punks to feel like little bad-asses.
@almostheavenfinancialplann38628 жыл бұрын

Man, please. That song pretty much put Kool and the Gang in the category of funk groups who were falling off by the early 80s. Just because you think the music is 'real' doesn't mean it's actually good.
@miltonbrown88278 жыл бұрын
+saj8 Real musicians, real singing, real instruments, real talent & it was all good. Btw, even with personnel changes, Kool & the Gang is still going strong after 50+ years.

Milton Brown The last album that Kool and the Gang put out that was worth a damn was Something Special, and that was back in 1981. Other than that, it's been downhill ever since the more they tried to crossover.
