San actually auditioned for KQ as a vocalist and learned to dance as a trainee. Of course it helped that his dad ran a taekwondo dojang and San is a double black belt in taekwondo. That kind of flexibility and muscle control lends itself well to dancing. But the thing that blows me away every time is his acting. He has the ability to portray every emotion in every song not just with his face and his voice, but somehow with every part of his body, The curve of his back or the trembling of his hands. It really makes him stand out among other artists. (And this is coming from a Hongjoong/Jongho bias)

The original singer is Lee Hi, She's an amazing singer and this song really is an emotional song (especially this song reminds Jonghyun, a member of SHINee who passed away already). Not all artists can deliver such emotion, but San did an amazing cover for this ♥️

I'm a SanHwa (San and Seonghwa) biased myself. Good luck! This man will wreck you in so many ways! He is the King of duality. One stage he's part of the Demon Line, but off stage he is one of the sweetest, most caring, most genuine people ever. And it may surprise you to learn that up until the Bouncy comeback this summer, San was ONLY officially a lead vocalist for Ateez. He is now officially part of the dance line. He had no dance experience when he started an a trainee and has worked so hard over the last five years. We Atinys are so proud of our Sannie! ❤

It's always fun watching new people discover San is actually lead vocalist and wasn't originally in the performance line at all 😆 the members even clown him for his audition video because apparently he had little to no official dance training prior to joining. They always talk about how incredible it is where he is now (dance-wise) compared to when he first joined as a trainee

San has a beautiful voice, the stage presence of a demon & the soul & mannerisms of a true prince. Most people, who hasn’t seen them, assume the high belts come from just Jongho, but Yunho, Seonghwa & San can reach the rafters too.San’s vocals are often used in conjunction with Jongho’s, or they play off each other & it winds up sounding like one person. I love San’s voice & his Demon Prince persona. You should hear his R&B voice in their Bruno Mars cover of Leave The Door Open.

omg I've been waiting so long for someone with actual vocal experience to react to San!! No one ever does and it makes me a lil sad lol, so thank you! San may be an amazing dancer/performer but he's also an amazing vocalist (he's ateez's lead vocalist actually) and i need more people to give him the credit he deserves😩 I've always been curious about his technique and how good it actually is, like I'm no vocal expert so I can't say much beyond thinking he sounds great, so hearing you praise his technique is great! The way he keeps improving his vocals and dancing all the time instead of just thinking 'eh that's good enough' is so impressive. ahh yeah... this boy, he just has a special effect on people haha I got to know him very randomly, through a fancam on a twitter thread...🤦‍♀ and I actually at first got to listen to Ateez's music through his fancams, but then as I got to know more about the group and I got really interested in their music and performance. But I also got to know this incredibly talented guy who also happens to be the most precious and sweet guy to exist, he is just SO caring, funny, and hardworking. I'm glad you got to see him in this light which is the reason why he got into the group/company in the first place and gave him his official position in the group as lead vocalist. Sadly, since the beginning, his vocals have been put aside to showcase his dance and performance, (since these elements are the ones people recognize the most about him, cause he really is different to anybody else when dancing and performing) I really wish we can see him sing and explore more with his voice more often. Yeah, SAN is such an intense and incredible performer that sometimes his stellar vocals are overlooked, but he is in fact the lead singer. I'm a Cancer, too! Great company! If you want to be blown away by San's vocals even more I warmly recommend you to listen to Turbulence (both the MV and also the It's Live band version), trust me you won't regret it. That song also showcases a different side of Ateez, a softer and more sentimental one that beautifully complements the crazyness of the majority of their music. It's definitely a useful experience especially for a baby Atiny (also welcome aboard the pirate ship)🤣

Sannie is my ULT Bias and it's always made angry when reactors completely miss how amazing of a singer he is because they're so focused on his performance or on Jongho which (Sure Jongho is amazing) but, I clocked his voice it since first????He's always had my favorite tone in every song even before I knew he sang those parts. Girl, you need to see Ateez - Be with you live Showcase. It's a fancam of their The World Movement comeback showcase of the song voted on by Atinys. It is one of the most beautiful showcases of almost all of their vocals. Also, it was my initial thought that you might end up biasing Yeosang if you got to know his personality, but that was just my first thought. Also, the zombie video was their debut song Pirate King.
