The biggest suprise to new atinys is San´s duality, like on stage he is fierce and so so so expressive, but of stage he is THE softest boy ever, so kind and sweet.

As a Seonghwa bias… it is so funny to think this is the same guy wearing face masks and DESTROYING Seonghwa’s bed in the background while Seonghwa builds Lego models or talks to us. I feel so proud of San in a weird sort of way! As for bias… their stage characters are very different from their everyday personalities. They are all such marshmallows. I’d suggest a deep dive across the board. I agree with the suggestion of the Ultimate Guide to Ateez 2023. It is really a amazingly well made guide with only a little cringe here and there. Honestly… a lot of Atiny’s have a bias line or are OT8 because they ALL come for you sooner or later.

Yeah, I started with just San as a bias, then shortly after Yeosang got me, then Seonghwa, so now my bias line is-San and Yeosang are my ult K-pop biases, Seonghwa and Mingi are biases, Yunho and Jongho, aka 2Ho, are my wreckers, and Hongjoong and Wooyoung are menaces to my bias and wrecker lines 😂😅

Also, my spouse (demi boy) and I (genderfluid) are both pan and have been kpop fans for 13 years and have frequent discussions about how kpop boys are a whole different flavor to other cis men. We think the general lack of toxic masculinity and their willingness to be soft, affectionate, and vulnerable in public gives the impression that they are "safe" to be attracted to. Ateez has caused us to straight up blush on a near daily basis; you really aren't alone in this!

It's crazy how he didn't know how to dance before debuting in Ateez and now he's seriously one of the best dancers in the industry. Like, he's an amazing performer but also an INCREDIBLE dancer, I'm in awe every time I see him. The body control he has, the energy, the isolations, his body lines, etc. It's all so amazing. Also highly recommend his vocal cover (the one that showed up at the end), not only is he an outstanding dancer/performer, he's also a very skilled vocalist. You have got to check out San's other special clip! It's his first vocal cover ever and it was also released this year (this is a very good year for San fans because this is his first performance video ever too 😂) it'll definitely show you his voice and a completely different side from this video!. He's an ace honestly.

Ateez has ALOT of lore, but……..as a decent loretiny, there wasn’t anything I picked up on. At her than the fact that he had a couple taekwondo moves and we’ve be speculating it might have something to do with the comeback. Other than that your good. Though this definitely had a storyline. He was weak, then became strong, the ‘haters’ (before the blue eyes) got to him and he gave in, then he became stronger and stood above them all and controlled them/himself. Which is a reference to his life and his story. He was VERY skinny at debut and people often, to this day, make fun of him and his facial expressions. He also has a bunch of articles written about him stating that he ‘will raise the standards of K-pop’ so I think that plays into this somehow.

As far as I know, he likes league of legends a lot and this song was one of the most prominent league of legends songs ever. Also I’ve heard that he portrays the story of Sylas, one of the lol champions. Seems to fit. Ateez visited riot games HQ in LA and Riot games posted about Ateez on twitter. Also during round 4 of the lol world championships riot games even played the leaders between matches. so there might be more to come :D

My first original bias was Yeosang. And then I saw their live performances... yeah, San took over. But I kind of like to think Yeosang is my off-stage bias and San is my on-stage bias. I don't see anyone mentioning this so I will: that video you asked about at the end is San's first ever vocal cover (just like this is his first ever performance video), if you're gonna do a deep dive on San (pls do) i highly recommend watching his vocal cover as well! He's ateez's lead vocalist but he doesn't get many opportunities in their music to showcase his vocal skills unfortunately, so he surprised a lot of people with that cover. I wish people would remember that not only is he a great dancer and performer, he's also a skilled vocalist. His voice is my favourite in the group, it's sweet like honey and so beautiful (though he can also go very deep and sometimes he sings with a growl-like quality to it. He has a pretty wide range.) Thanks for this reaction, it was very relatable hahah. I'm obsessed with this performance and I can't wait to see what he does next. Btw, did you know he had zero dance experience before joining ateez? He's probably one of the best dancers in the industry now. Absolutely crazy how far he's come🥹

As a bi Yeosang bias, I still absolutely love all of the other members and can definitely appreciate San's talent and hard work. This may come a little off topic but it was the first thing that came to mind when you mentioned you don't normally like muscular men. The thing I love the most about San, and all of Ateez really, as well as Chan and Changbin, is they aren't starving or dehydrating themselves to look more ripped. Like here, yes San is looking buff cause he has buffed up quite a lot since debut, but you can tell he still eats, and stays hydrated by the fact that he is buff but doesn't have crazy muscle definition. It's literally such a healthy looking shot of him and I love that he chose to do that.

Ok listen. I'm a 28 year old, married to a cis-man, pan-identifying Stay/Atiny and honestly.... your comments about these men restoring your faith in cis-men is SO REAL! Like they're so intune with their emotional sides. They ARE masculine and have almost hyper-masculine features but they're also super in touch with the more traditional feminine traits and don't shy away from showing them. Add in the work ethic, dedication to their art, and creativity and they're the perfect package. They seriously raise the bar for cis-men SO HIGH! My husband aligns with these personality traits alot which is a big part of why I fell for him. And I don't expect anything to happen but for YEARS I've said, if God forbid something happened between us I would never date another man because there's no chance I'd find one that lives up to the standard he's set for the kind of partner I want in my life.... then I found stray kids and ateez in April and I've amended it to, "I would never date another AMERICAN man again." Not expecting anything to happen with my husband and ideally he's the last PERSON I ever have a relationship with. But he and they seriously set the bar so high!! Side note: your channel is amazing and I wish we were friends because I don't know any other Stay/Atiny in my real life and you have all the same takes I do and I wish we could just sit and talk and watch their content together all the time. I watched Kingdom for them, and discovered Stray Kids. Stray Kids is another group that is full of talented adorable members that make it hard to pick a bias.
