What I really enjoy is different stuff from different brands. I have everything from Mac, Snap-on, Matco. I like the small things with Mac’s impacts such as the light on the nose cone. Need to come to Franklin. Matt sledge isn’t the only good tool dealer…..

Great guy. Would love him in my area What r the stubby impact 3/8” dewalt guns model #. Also, I didn’t realize dewalt made a 20v ratchet. I knew they made 12v ratchet. Would love a 1/4”, 3/8x 1/2 info on those too. I have Milwaukee 12 v and dewalt 20v lines of tools so that 20v ratchet intrigues me. The 12 v ratchet in both lacks power/torque but 20v/18v should be better. Thx

I had a good distributor with Mac once and then had to distributors in different states refused to warrantee any of the stuff I bought. But I know why you’re early videos you know the frustration of bad distributors.

From 84 to 88, I had a GOOD Mac Tool dealer and his truck was packed full like that most of the time. He was too good. His volume/route grew to the point they split the route and I got the NOT SO GOOD new guy. He quit stopping in about 6 months . Haven't had MAC since. I bought a lot of tools and a 1500/1510 tool box {still in full use} off the first dealer. He and I shared the same thought on business, MONEY TALKS / BULLSHIT WALKS...We got along fine.

Why would you”ever” strike a screwdriver I always got mad and my brother or dad wanted to use my Klein cushion grip straight screwdriver to amber out knockouts in electrical boxes of breaker boxes . Use SunChips so it won’t knock the edge of the screwdriver blade.

Wouldn't mind getting a MAC tool truck for central jersey area. For that matter we are dying for an independent tool truck dealer. Especially one that uses MTN distro service. Been doing research on MTN while searching for an independent truck that services anywhere in the 40 mile radius of Central Jersey. Most MTN truck dealers tend to out price Amazon for identical tools by an average of 6%. Meaning these tool truck dealers using MTN sell their tools 6% cheaper than Amazon on average. And that's before you factor in shipping plus shipping times and discrepancies (wrong item/damaged). That's incredible, but it does vary from truck to truck and the volume they sell, plus greed. But even if the tool truck matches Amazon pricing or say even 5% more, it's still a deal considering the guaranteed warranty through MTN on almost everything, plus guaranteed 2-3 day max shipping on anything not on your truck any time of the week and the bonus of support local small businesses not the Amazon monopoly empire. Every mechanic needs an independent Truck using MTN. We have too many horror stories gone wrong from relying on Amazon for a needed tool to finish a job that Snapon / Matco / Mac don't have or they just aren't around (not to mention these days everything is on backorder with the Fab 3). I've been waiting 2 months so far for Snap on's twist sock set for destroyed lugs, Straight prybars, lineup bars, sledge hammers over 3lbs, and blue points 1/4" 40pc stubby bit socket set. It's ridiculous. And another bonus to independents is their tool truck account "low interest". With Matco / Snapon, it doesn't matter if you have an 850 credit score interest is 25% apr to 33%. Your talking almost double the borrowed amount over 5 years....WTF. Silverlining with Snap-on is once you have an account for over a year in good standing, they allow you to refinance down to 15% provided your over a certain total amount (I think it's 10k plus). Make one late payment, just one and back to max apr33%

I’ve had great luck with them. The issues I have heard is guys trying to use hex for torx since they do look alike but that’s the obvious issue with them. They simply work and you will have far less issues using them the first time and being done with it!!
