Pre-Hooktail Pit, But It Starts On Floor 91 (No Superguards)

Pre-Hooktail Pit, but only the last ten battles. I start the run on Floor 91 at Level 2, with limited resources and no Superguards. How far can I make it through the Pit of 10 Trials?

Chris no because he had it before it all the time every time he and koops leveled up. Your hp is fully restored in level ups. And goombella stayed in peril the whole time

SuperShesh2 Goombella did not stay in peril the entire time. Around 19 minutes in she gets killed, as does Koop. Without heart finder, he would have had nobody in peril after that fight. But even if he had made no mistakes, there’s no way of knowing for sure when he’d level up anyways. Enemy formations are semi-random, which means you won’t get the same exp every time. He even notes that he can’t predict whether he’ll level up right before goombella was killed.

I equipped Heart Finder to guarantee that she'll get back in Peril after battle if she dies. It would suck if she dies, gets no hearts, and can't be used in the next battle.

14:03 Amazy Dayzees are 9% to freeze; the Ice Storm adds a x0.95 modifier to base, not -5 percentage points. Still lucky, lol. Gotta appreciate the Multibonk SP regen in Peril/Peril state being so much you still have 1.0 buffered SP after the Sweet Treat.

@@PipeGuy64Bit The chances of a full Dry Bones audience are pretty low, though I've had it against Bonetail in my Level -1 run (instant Game Over there). But if you're playing a normal Pre-Hooktail Pit with no other restrictions, it shouldn't be too bad.

@@yourehereforthatarentyou Jump in at lvl 1. And hop out about lvl 22 sometimes 23. I had i think 50 hp. 25 fp. And roughly 15 BP. Could be wrong on BP. But badge points aremt THAT useful this run. You really only need a few luck based badges and fire drive.

I just realized something. Where are Wizzerds actually from? And their tattle says their “part machine” so who built them? They can’t be related to the X-nauts because they appear in places the X-nauts haven’t been. They can’t be related to bowser’s army because they never appear in another game. And they aren’t programmed to fight Mario specifically because they are centuries old and so the creator can’t know about Mario. But at the same time, they help enemies so there must be a reason they fight Mario specifically.

Because if Goombella dies, she'll need to get back in Peril for next battle. Heart Finder guarantees at least one heart drop after battle.

I find it kind of frustrating that they skipped hearts from earlier levels instead of using them to heal Goombella. If they used them to heal her up even twice, she would have survived the hammer. Poor Goombella. Then again, he needed the peril. The risk was worth the reward I guess.

It pertains to a strategy called Danger Mario. It involves lowering his HP to five, when he’s put in the Danger state, and equipping certain badges that take advantage of it. With Chet Rippo, Mario’s HP can go below the staring ten, keeping him at five and, with enough luck and the right items, utterly destroy bosses. A lot of players GOOD at the game pull off Danger Mario consistently!

Late, but shop points. You can start with as many as you want through buying and selling items to grind them.

@@AkameGaKillfan777 No, you can get infinite shooting stars. After 300 shop points, the shopkeeper resets your total to zero once you receive your three gold bars and the cycle of gifts repeats. You can quite literally generate as many as 10 of any shop point item if you have enough patience for Pre-Hooktail Pit challenges.

To be fair, the game only gives you the warning if you’re not looking in the menus. It’s hard to notice it without the sound, too. I’ve gotten hit countless times because of that scenario Edit: Even with the sound, it’s still tough to notice, because the audience can also toss items your way. I’ve screwed myself out of an item because I was scanning the audience too slow

i think they're worth it over regular guarding because regular guarding is 1 damage less but if you get a superguard perfect it usually avoids all damage

No, I don’t, because they guarantee Mario takes no damage and counters direct attacks, but they’re also incredibly difficult to pull off, which makes it very rewarding when they are. I think they’re more worth it compared to regular guards because of what I just said.
