Excellent explanation! I have a quick question: when a customer is upgrading from a lower tier of the product to a higher tier one in which the higher tier includes everything the lower one does but more, do customers pay the difference between the two or the entire higher price. So, if the low tier is $500 and the mid tier is $800, is the customer paying the full $800 to upgrade or just $300 since they have already purchased a portion of the product? Thanks for this video. It really has been incredibly helpful.

Ok, Makes sense. What is the best layout? Crazy Egg is highest to lowest (L to R) with "most popular" as the second choice. All others seem to go low to high. Any thoughts about presentation? Thin entering wedge or sledge hammer to velvet glove?

It's almost impossible to give you a definitive rule of thumb because each product/service/pricing structure is a bit unique, but the logical way to go is from lowest to highest. Checkout more examples here: swipefile.com/pricing/

Well if you take neuroscience into account it's actually better to start with the most expensive option. People will use that price as an anchor point which makes the others seem a lot cheaper. They've done some studies that show this too. If you want to stand out and be different this is a great way to do so.
