One of the major plot holes of AOS was how Kora wasnt able to revive Jiaying. When whitehall tortured and killed Jiaying, he took most of her organs and blood and Cal had to piece her back together and sacrificed a whole village to have enough energy/life force to save her but she was revived. When Nathaniel killed jiaying, he only snapped her neck. Kora's energy powers shouldve been more than enough to kickstart Jiaying's regeneration powers to revive her like she did Daisy.

probably because in this case, jiaying's neck got snapped. she can't fix broken things, just give energy into something that stopped working. idk if i explained myself sorry

@@nakseyyy pretty sure getting all your organs, blood and even spinal fluid taken out is worse than a snapped neck. Jiaying has great regeneration ability she just needs energy for it which Kora has a lot of. That's why they were able to make that centipede serum using her DNA to cure coulson's alien "cancer". Feels like they just dropped the ball to make it more tragic

Um.....did you forget that Jiaying's death in the original timeline was from exactly the same thing???? Cal broke her neck to kill her and that tracks with what her powers do. They regenerate, realigning a twisted, snapped spinal column has nothing to do with regeneration. It doesn't matter which is "worse", her gift replenishes lost tissue and cells, which is why Cal could restore her after reassembling (in all of the right places) what remained of her old body. It's not a plot hole, it's 100% consistent.

Think about it. Daisy can create bursts of electricity if she focuses her power in a specific way as she did to restart Lincoln's heart once. Vibrations means manipulation of molecular movement, theoretically if Daisy lived long enough she could probably do a hell of a lot more with her powers than she does in the series. Likewise I think Kora kinda just has a different slant on the same power. It's more intensely focused and energetic, but it does not have as wide an effect as Daisy's quake powers (wide as in all around, not just range).

Hey my name is quake and I have a question! So as we know it kora has energy based abilities while daisy has vibration/ sound based abilities. If daisy and kora were to have a fight or match, who would win? Kora can manipulate energy and energy can travel at the speed of light. Daisy can manipulate vibrations and vibrations travel at the speed of sound. Which means that if they were to fight using offense then kora would win in offense. If they would were to fight with defense then daisy would win. If they both had to do a fight with only combat and no power use then daisy would win considering that she is a master martial artist and her sister a expert. And if they were to team up together and we get to see them in the MCU then they could be unstoppable and be very powerful together.
