I hope Lee gets the feedback from these replies. Thank you for your honesty Lee. I've struggled with alcohol for over 30yrs, and could relate to all you said. I've been plucking up the courage to stop for a while now, and listening to you has given me the push to go to AA again.👍Thank you.

A very honest, emotional and inspiring edition of the podcast. Loved all the stories from Lee's involvement with carp fishing history fish, momentous days like the invention of the hair rig, breaking the British carp record, and winning the World Carp Classic with Tim Paisley, to the very important message about the dangers of alcohol and other drugs associated with carp fishing, which sadly is more common than we often care to admit!

Don't know what to say really Lee, known you for years as a customer at the TB mainly, but now live in Spain. Well done on an excellent podcast, not only the angling part, but the honesty about your alcoholism will be an inspiration to so many. Keep up the good work, a shake of the hand and pat on the back from me.

Also just a quick shout out too Danny Fairbrass I cant even start to tell you how much you have done for my Carp fishing. Korda has a great future and an amazing team. March 2020

Fair play for speaking out about being an alcoholic. Hopefully it inspires people to get help or people to help each other most anglers know of somebody on there lakes that smokes to much green or drinks more than they should.

I use to live near the kenningtons lake on the estate in Aveley, its now open again as a fishery but not like it was back in the day , tunnel angling use to run it , i remember i was going to join as a junior but like lee said it was closed in 83 , use to be a lovely little water . Phil Harper's story in Robs book was a brilliant read . Well done Lee for a frank and honest talk about the drink problem you had , well done fella .
