This actually changed my perspective of him as a person from watching him. He's already a top angler but the way he portrays himself he seems a top bloke 🧑🏻

Without a doubt Danny for me is a legend. Watching him on Thinking Tackle is brilliant, he is a wealth of knowledge and seems a top fella who is and has done so much for carp fishing. I really hope that he comes back in front of the camera. Thinking Tackle will always be the greatest fishing show ever made I rewatch episodes when ever I get the chance. Well done all were involved

New to podcasts and this is only the second I have watched. I have listened to this one on the way to and from work. Just finished nights but felt I needed to listen to the last 40 minutes before going to bed. Comes across as a top bloke will be listening to more of these instead of shouting at LBC on my commute

First podcast I’ve ever listened to, I’ve always followed Korda ever since I stared carp fishing 10 years ago, this was such a great insight into Danny’s life. Can’t wait for the next one.

Podcast virginity taken by Mr Fairbrass and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great insight and tone to the interview. Felt for Danny when he mentioned the nasty side of social media gets to him. Thanks again, cant wait to listen to the rest.

What an absolute cracking bloke! Genuinely does get shit loads of abuse, but how interesting this listen was and I hope plenty of carp anglers who may have been guilty of slagging him or his company off see/hear this and change their opinion. Loved watching him on Thinking Tackle as a young lad learning and still love watching him know as a fairly experienced carp angler. Keep up the great work Danny 👏

Danny comes across really well & is a lovely fella .. great to see an open honest interview from such a successful guy instead of the old “get in that net “.. I can only wish him well in the future .. the interviewer was brilliant also , the whole thing flowed & flew by As I drove in the car .. looking forward to more the same & don’t mind the haters

Excellent listening. Can first remember seeing Danny selling zip leads at a Carp Society show back in the 90’s at Dunstable and have nothing but respect for the bloke for not only the way he has made a very successful business from such a small seed but also for the way he has put so much back into the sport. So easy to talk it but a completely different thing to follow it through. Well done, excellent podcast 👍

Great first podcast, honesty, vision and reason. A real carp anglers journey Danny portrayed leading what some people may say as privileged but from an honest background. Hard work determination to succeed and to make a dream happen. It brought all the reasons out as to why I go carp fishing and why I and many others to go. Top work lads!

This is the first pod cast I've ever listened to and watched and I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it. I honestly don't understand why Danny gets so much stick when you look at what he has done and continues to do for carp fishing, just listening to him speak I see an ordinary guy who has made a name for himself what in the hell is wrong with that. I will look forward to more of these in the future.

The way i got into carp fishing was a movie State of the Art Carp Fishing with Danny and Frank Warwick (not an underwater series yet). It was so many moons ago...I immediately felt connection with this lovely guy and got hooked on the hobby as well. Everything i know i learned from Danny and i never ever could understand the negative feedback and people bashing him for no reason. He has done so much for the hobby and us, anglers. It is a shame on us that because of our behavior online he does not read comments and does not participate in social media communications. What a waste of opportunity to talk directly to one of the best advocates of cap fishing out there. ...anyways, i am thankful for this podcast and hope to see Danny more in the future.

Great podcast! I listen to a lot of podcasts and hosts have a bad habit of going off in a spiral and talking about themselves more, this host is brilliant allows Danny to talk never spoke over him and added bits when necessary and as for Danny well, what a man I have to admit I’ve been part of the ‘Danny bashing club’ in the past but I can genuinely say no more, what an inspiration and a credit to carp fishing!!

Well I must admit, I thought I would take a look at this pod cast. But to be fare didn't think I would get much past the first 10/15mins before losing interest about either the presenter or guest. But just finished watching the last few seconds to complete all 1hr 36mins and 25seconds. Great respect to Danny and the Presenter Simon. From the pod cast I know Danny will probably not read any of the comments. But I hope Simon or someone from the Korda team, will pass on the positive comments to him. A very open and honest account on some personal points, and I for one look forward to hearing more of these and some additional cast from Danny in the future. I will him continued success and health in particular for him and his family.

That was really cool and interesting . I've never believed all the social media stuff that Danny is self obsessed, anything to advance his fortune ect ect. This has not only proved that wrong but proved my view was right. He is a driven business man, that's true, but as long as you don't lose who you are and still care for others then it all good. I'll Finish by saying one thing and a shout out too Danny, "Get In There". 😉
