@@Shagley Korda only have 2 patterns I think that don't come in barbless. The long shank is 1 of them. Only Nash do barbless long shanks in all sizes.

Curious about the running lead rig. What if a fish is not hooked but releases the lead. Then the rig will just be out there and not able to hook another fish.

so much different as i work.. less or no feeding at all, no corn, only solid dogfood infringed with hempoil and garlic, single hookbait, fixed 30 grams weight, breaking point is hair-knot about 20pounds, mainline 55 lbs braided.. on a Abu connolon 3 meter length.. catching all year round

What is the distance between the rods, to count the turns, according to the rod you use, to know the distance?

You use the length of your rod as measurment, for example if you use a 12ft rod you just lay it on the ground and stick the distance sticks at the two ends of your rod. So in this Case 1xRep equals 12ft, or 1 rod length :)

Hopefully I will next year be doing overnighter next year was planning this year but a type 2 diabetes diagnosis put a stop to it healthy eating is crucial for me now but I don't see anything in the fishing industry promoting healthy eating on the bank for session fishing with medical conditions where eating healthy and at right times is crucial for diabetics your help would be appreciated

Manufacturers cater for every budget, when i started in the 90s it was harder to find decent, cheap rods and reels. I had shitty Argos Shimano rods/reels 😞, upgraded to Fox Warriors, then Chub S Plus and now i use Diawa. You can get decent 12' 3lb Diawa Black widow rods £40-£50, paired with Diawa Crosswind/Crossline X reels £80-£100. They look great, function well on the long cast and do not break the bank. You do not need a tackle tart to get on the fish 🙂, I had just as much fun fishing with my Argos shit as i do today with my Diawa gear.
