i was watching this thinking "why dont they just match the hatch" but because i've only been seriously carp fishing for a few years now, i thought you guys must know something i dont. turns out my intuitions were right, this has done wonders for my confidences. thanks for the video guys
@Carpfishingextremeusa3 сағат бұрын
They don't match the hatch because they need to sell stupid boilies to you guys to make money

Quality banter between these three 😂

great video - made me laugh a few times & it was good to see the guys having fun whilst they were filming. if these vids show anything, it's that when fishing out in the lake, we often get it wrong a lot more than we get it right & that it's always worth changing things up during a session if things are slow as you never know whats happening on the spot.

Just shows you how hard some carp are to hook. The ones that go on the missing list and go uncaught for years. They're the special ones no matter what size.

At about ten mins in Pecky I believe says “he’s on the Paul Selmans”. Just seen that he’s passed away. Another one of the old school anglers left us. RIP.

This is the bollocks.... always loved him and his presenting style. yeah you can call me a lover boy about him, but he is popular for a reason!! I used to get the simplest tips from him when he worked in Bevan carp tackle in Essex and they ALWAYS made me up my catch rate. The Kamasan B175 was a game changer!! The most inspiring angler I've ever known...... and funny!!!!!!!

To me this confirms again, a shot on the hook is crucial!
@Lenny1012 сағат бұрын
@OsD5713 I've been using PB products shot on a hook on my spot to see if it made a difference and I started catching more on.my.second spot then on my favourite quick bite spot. It really does work.
@OsD57132 сағат бұрын
@ I saw a long time ago the difference by underwater footage from Piet vogel! He was one of the guys behind pb products.. I did use the same from pb products. Now I use the ones from pole position or from carp whisperer.. they are a little more delicate! A bit smaller and I’ve a carp takes it it shoves more easy over the hook.. I did catch my 2 biggest fish with the ones from pb products💪
@Lenny1012 сағат бұрын
@OsD5713 I thought pb and pole position are the same company just branded different for Europe. I might be wrong lol

Brilliant video lads. What would you say is a good strike rate for a rig? Heads and tails is a 50/50 shot but you can still flip 10 tails in a row… On a small sample size it’s easy to be over hyping one rig over another…

Enjoyed the video korda entertainment purposes only 😂 but remember guys focus more on finding the carp and building your own confidence and style 😉 a simple bog standard rig is all that's required if its tied correctly its going in (sharp hook 🪝 too)
