I wonder if top hasn’t been forgiven because he’s a K-pop star. Maybe it’s people from other fandom’s giving him a hard time. But then I wonder why Seungri hasn’t been given a harder time.

because knetz have such freaking malicious double standards. As long as we "foreigners" protect Top, he will be able to work and earn for life. Korean tv blurred him out just couple of days ago and k media calling him a druggie because of weed he smoked in 2017, can you imagine what level of malice we are talking about. I'm very disturbed about the way how is guy being treated. At the same timem since TOP as Thanatos now got international famem same fandom bullying h8m at home tries to present him as Bigbang member (which he is not because he left the band) to boost popularity of Bingbang. Wh8ch, apparently see itself as band who opned k pop to a world fame, which is untrue. BTS did that. Bingbang were always domestically band nr. 1, but never nr. 1 kpop band globally. So now they try to steal glory from Psy and BTS on behalf of TOP's sudden fame, while all Bigbang members including G-Dragon abandoned TOP when he went trough hardest moments in his life. I hear G'Dragon supported Seungry on MAMA awards in Decmber 2024. Where is his support for his bandmate and long time friend? I don't see it. This is why I unfollowed G-Dragon, and because guy was liking MHJ's posts. Enough for me to understand who he really is.

In my opiopn S. Korea says it has a judicial system, but it doesn't function like one. People get off so easy for SA and are crucified for Marijuana or gambling. I think they need to tear down their judicial System and reconstruct it.

It seems like women have no protection against abuse of that type. That’s not right!

Every time I hear about a SK sentencing, I think "that's dumb"... their judgements are 'legally' effected by public opinion ffs. Rape & murder get treated like misdemeanors. So backwards.

SEUNGRI should still be in prison!! That’s not right SA assault after knowing drugging poor women!

"Should go to jail for inconveniencing other people."..That is a little harsh, come on. Just when I was thinking that the SK punishment system is all out of wack, you come out with this last sentence.😂 But seriously, I feel that the way hard crimes like SE or sex trafficing are punished way too little, specially compared to the overblown punishments and public shaming for minor incidents like Suga falling of his scooter, is wrong and hard to understand. This is one aspect of SK that I don't like.

But they don’t care about the rapist who’s making a comeback. TOP just hurt himself. But everyone deserve a second chance.

I agree with you about the smell of smoked products. And it triggers asthma for me, so I really don't want to smell it outdoors either.

Objectively I get why Koreans are so strict with every case of drugs , even If it’s “just” weed. If they start to say “ahh it’s okay” they blur the lines and it’ll get normalized. They want their country drug free - which isn’t a bad thing. But in the meantime they completely disregard what it does to those shamed and shunned by their society. When I read that TOP got so bad he tried to leave this world my heart broke. He did a human mistake … we all try some drugs in our lives. It shouldn’t ruin your live like this. People shouldn’t protest him being in squid game or any TV show. That’s way too much. Overall I think we lift celebrities into the sky too much. If my cousin or coworker or whoever tells me they had a physical fight with someone I won’t shut them out of my life. Even a DUI… I would be disappointed and they would not hear the end of it 100%. But that doesn’t define a whole person. In real life you can’t just shut out everyone who isn’t perfect. You’ll be alone . And celebrities are humans too. Let’s give people second chances

LLJ also has same hobbies as MHJ for he tried to steal company from his partner(s) year ago or so. LEE BYUN HYUN was in Magnificent seven with Denzel Washington, in G.I.Joe, in Red2 with Bruce Willis, in Terminator with Swatzenwgger, and I think also qith Ethan Hawke in 3:10 Yuma (not sure about that one# I may be mixing Yuma's cast with The Magnificent Seven's). Yuma and M7 are among my favorite westerns EVER together with The wind river, Assassination of Jesse James by coward Robert Ford, and others

As a person who lost 2 sisters to a drunk driver, I strongly believe in stiff drunk driving laws in every country. Mr Sunshine actor and JWS both have accounted for their issues. Blackmail is so ungly also.

Why is YG so overrepresented in this? Like what kind of company culture do they have? Park Bom has been caught with drugs (supposedly anti depressants) and Jennie/Rose have been suspected of druguse if I recall correctly

I don’t fans “forgiving” or not. Isn’t forgiving something done to YOU? These celebrities have done nothing to fans. Maybe they disappointed them, but that’s about that. I don’t understand societies today. I honestly feel this is our modern day witch trials. I guarantee you not ONE PERSON is sin free.
