Kudos to Gehlee for emphasizing the meaning of the Philippine flag. Many people who are not familiar with it might misuse it in different circumstances. Gehlee isn't really fluent in Tagalog tho, so that's why sometimes, she make small mistakes. She grew up speaking english more, and whenever she's speaking Tagalog, she has a noticeable accent. This made me remember about her video with Elisia, where they sang Gehlee's part in tagalog, and she translated it as "ano isip mo saken" instead of "anong tingin mo sakin". Which was really cute and funny 😂

hello everyone if some of you get confuse. gehlee wrote pangngalan which means noun in english. pangalan on the other hand means name. maybe she just mixed up the words. also the kamusta, is an informal form for kumusta. the right term is kumusta from the spanish word como estas. but dont worry since a lot of filipino too used the informal form of the word.

I think Gehlee is still struggling to understand the conversations in Korea that's why she still cannot go along well with them, for example at 9:57 she seems to not understand the conversation so she didn't pick up the vibe and didn't laugh alongside with them, but yeah those are the tiny bits of things I've noticed, but still huge props to Gehlee for being brave and strong on attending the show despite her early stages of learning Korean language, I sincerely think that Gehlee is doing a great job! ❤

@@JPPPPotTs with the line distribution for a song, I am fine with it since it can be memorize throughout the recording session and Gehlee's voice is underrated in my opinion, it has the swag and relaxing vibe on it that I think it would be great if it is utilized properly. Though with interviews, I am just not really satisfied with it 'cuz the struggle she has with korean language is what hinders on the thoughts that she really want to say and I think this is also applicable to Elisia since I notice that with some interviews, she keep on repeating the same phrases but we know that she has a lot to say as well. at the same time, this is just me a simple fan and I just want to prioritize the well being of my idols. I hope for more improvments on their korean language even though they had their hectic schedules.

Gehlee also studied in 2 schools whereas, big, ig popular and expensive(can't afford by most of the people living in the Philippine), San Beda College and I forgot about the other one but it is also quite big.

Why is it such a big deal to "some" Filipinos that Gehlee uses English instead of Tagalog here? If she's more comfortable speaking English, that's what matters. If you've watched her introduction videos, you'll see she's genuinely proud of our culture and country. The point is, she's a Filipina; being one doesn't mean she has to use Tagalog exclusively. If Elisia were in her place, she would likely use English too, as she is fluent and comfortable with it. Also, many international fans are watching them, so using English helps reach a broader audience, whether they are fans or not. Some of you are acting as if English isn't recognized as our second official language in the country.

I'm so glad Gehlee and Kotoko have a guesting for the first time. The short language class makes me reminiscent of the past when I was also learning Filipino in elementary and Japanese in high school. Though my handwriting is not elegant as theirs. Anyway, the mistakes aren't bothering at all since they are still young and has a lot to learn. I'm just happy and proud of them teaching about their own country confidently. Especially Gehlee, I remember it took me a lot of time to memorize the meaning of the Philippine flag for a quiz. PS: I can bear constructive criticism but if it's not, then you're automatically blocked.

yay! I love this video! 😍 I miss Gehlee talking, 'cause as seen in this interview, she is a very well-spoken girl! One of the many reasons I started to cheer her on universe ticket. One thing I was really sad when gehlee debuted in UNIS was that she was always at the back of the other members, not talking, or just always listening to what others has to say during interviews or vlogs.. maybe it was because she was not confident enough in conversing in Korean yet. I love love more videos like this! You can see how well-spoken, intelligent, and bright gehlee is.
