The Korea-Vietnam Business Forum was held on July 1 at Lotte Hotel Seoul on the occasion of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Korea.
Nineteen Korean companies and organizations such as SK, POSCO and Hyosung and 18 Vietnamese counterparts attended the event, which saw 23 memorandums of understanding signed.
Both sides agreed to expand trade and investment in sectors like advanced technologies, renewable energy, semiconductors, steel and bio and raise cooperation in R&D, smart factories, AI, education and marketing.
