Doctor Slump did have a storyline about depression and love. It about two overachiever who was rival in school and fell in love as they were trying to help each other through the hard times. I don't know what show you were watching, but the show was funny, romantic and made a point about mental illness and depression. Both Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin-hye was excellent in Doctor Slump.

doctor slump was a good k-drama, as an overachiever that decided to take a break for some time i related so much with the main characters. it doesn't have so much drama or events but it's so enjoyable. it's a drama that you watch for stress relief not suspense and action. it reminded me of 'be mellodramatic' the focus is on the daily life of the characters not just the story-line.

Part of this list is ridiculous! Doctor Slump was beautifully written and dealt with depression and PTSD in men and women, while also letting you take a break from all the sadness with light comedy, it received a lot of love from audiences. Park min young's Marry my husband was a huge hit for Prime and internationally well received, I agree with wonderland, great concept but the script lacked attention to detail and went off track near the end and the movie didn't have a resolved ending for all the characters.Killer paradox also had an unresolved ending. Dare to love's problem I felt was a lack of chemistry, I got friend vibes, not love interest from them, he acted the crap out of that ridiculous script lol.

The prod team promoted the movie with Suzy and Park Bogum so people thought they were the main story. But Suzy and Park Bogum’s had little screentime, and the main is Tang Wei who is the wife of the director. Knetz were so excited for this movie due to Suzy & Bogum’s couple photos and promotions. But seeing their little screentime, they were really disappointed and now they’re just asking for Suzy and Bogum to star in a new project.

Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum filmed Wonderland and Seobok BEFORE Park Bo Gum entered the military. It's frustrating that the movie was held for so long because the timing does make it look like it's Bo Gum's comeback but in truth it was his send off. It was filmed 3 or 4 years ago.

I think Marry My Husband had a good headstart but was just so-so towards the end. Doctor Slump, IMHO, though delivered. It was funny, the actors were great, and it also addressed mental health issues and got its message across well from beginning to end. Wonderland had an interesting premise on the first half of the film but somehow didn't deliver and execute whatever direction (which was unclear) the writers and director wanted from midway to end.

Park Shin Hye----my all time fav k-actress although i didn't like her last drama 'Dr.slump' but I'm currently following her ongoing drama 'The Judge From The Hell ' 🔥👿where she is a judge but murder by someone(not revealed yet)& possessed by a demon from the hell 😈. So conclusion of the video is….there is a writing g crisis in Korean entertainment industry.most of what you mentioned has nothing to do with the actors but the plot being very underwhelming and flat out boring. I only watched 2 k drama this year so far and barely finished it stop at ep 10 and it was queen of tears. The other one I finished but that is 1 finished K drama 4 years ago I would watch at least 10 kdrama a year! The writing is the issue.
