There aren't any idol groups or pop stars tradition in India. But there are Independent artists and musicians that too only in recent times they are known to people. We have songs in movies, even series have title song. There are only few movies with no songs. There is something similar to Korean plots in Indian movies too. The lead male actor is Hrithik Roshan, he has been on the top of most handsome man in the world list many a times. And in Bollywood, the person on the screen doesn't necessarily sing the song, that's very rare, the playback singers do the job of singing the song and the actors do the dancing and choreography stuff. *My personal opinion*, Bollywood movies have kinda degraded in the past few years, I've lost interest in 'em. But the web series made in India rock above skies cuz many actual talented actor's work in them without any nepotism, though, there's not much music-dance in them😅
