what tierlist are you following ? afaik decks above 50% and under 55% winrate would be considered tier 2

Never used metastats so I don't know how credible they are but Zoo is still excellent if you're facing a lot of Token Druid and Tempo Rogue/Mage. It only really struggles against heavy control decks and can still do fairly well against those if you get lucky with Keleseth. Zoo has always been a good deck up until Rank 5 and even above that to punish the more gimmicky early-mid game decks. I think calling it a tier 4 deck goes a bit too far, it's not like it's unfavored against every tier 1 deck that's played at the moment.

Ocean lol with that mindset, must not get far past rank 5 then. If you can't tell that a minion based deck coming back vs a board control deck that still consistently gets to high legend is a good sign for how sturdy the deck is, idk what we can tell you

I play games to have fun, I like thinking hard, and I'm good at it. I like to compete and I like to win - but winning as much as possible isn't necessarily the goal. Although winning is more fun than losing, I am also very subjective. If I can take a control shaman deck to 50% win rate over lots of games with others averaging 43%, that is a clear win for me in terms of personal performance. That is much better than playing a mindless deck with 58% vs 56% averages in my favor in terms of how much pride and joy I feel - and if I enjoy the games more while playing them as well, why shouldn't I? Also, ranks doesn't matter to me at all. They are a measure of perseverance more than anything else in my opinion.

Nice! One of the first decks I tried out that I really liked was an aggressive Mech Priest with Shadow Boxer and Gorilla-bot. I think I have most of the pieces for this deck from when I was playing around with Menagerie Magician, so I’ll see if I can put it together next time I play.

I got a fun combo: Auchenai and Squashling! 2 Turns, 4 mana + 10 Mana deal 5x 2dmg, summon a 3/5 and 5 2/1s, your Healing deals damage now. Also, if you are really greedy, go velen (with coin) the turn before... 20 Dmg is A LOT OF DAMAGE SO YOU NEED SOME FLEXTAPE

Yeah, it is the murloc tag that carries the extra value in this case. Murlocs come with a lot of buffing synergies, and 4 health is extremely valuable for keeping a 3-drop alive to take advantage of the buffs the following turn. It is just that one 4-health murloc is not enough to carry the murloc priest archetype. It is too vulnerable to mass removal and silences, and basically entirely relies on getting a better draw with slightly weaker cards or less value than other classes.
