Hi. COSRX Hydrium Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule broke me out terribly in huge under the skin pimples (never get those usually) 😢 after a few trial and errors I found out the hard way that my skin absolutely abhors macro algae! So now I avoid it like the plague

Ah what a shame! It must be difficult to find products without macro algae, it seems to be in so many Korean hydrating products!

@@UlrikeScherer no it’s not as hard as you would think lol I’ve found quite a bit. I feel macro algae has recently become a hot ingredient in skincare, it wasn’t always the case and more brands have also used micro algae which is better suited for me.

Cosrx is very MEH on my skin. I'm tempted to give the Hydrium toner a chance though!!! I always LOVE your recommendations!🙌🏼

I think it's a basic brand with some standout products. I do like them overall, but some of the hype seems very manufactured, I don't know.

My favorite cosrx product is their panthenol moisturizer. It's really good on my oily skin. It feels so light but nourishing. I've never heard anyone else talk about it here in youtube.

how do you compare the COSRX Hydrium Watery Toner vs. the Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner? in terms of hydration level, the level of absorption and the (lightweight) feel on the skin? I'm interested in trying the Round lab one after watching the summer toner suggestions of yours but now i found this too :D wondering which one if i should go with. Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, I'd say the Cosrx one is definitely more hydrating, but the Round Lab one feels more lightweight. The Round Lab one feels like water, basically, whereas the Cosrx one is a little bit richer due to the hyaluronic acid. In turn, the Round Lab one makes skin a bit smoother. Both are so beautiful though!

@@UlrikeScherer thanks a lot for your recommendation. My skin is oily combo and i love the quick absorption and lightweight feeling so i think at this point I'll go with the Round Lab Dokko Toner. Anyway, my skin is always better after coming back from a beach trip so sea water is a very promising ingredient to me. Btw, when it comes to Hyaluronic Acid- based toner, i adore the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid PLUS version. Its richer than normal toners and not the fastest with absorption, but the feeling is the best. If you have never tried it, you might wanna have a look ;)
