well one theory of the MV is about a mental ilness. the girls probably killed them by accident, Jiwoo by controlling Jseph too much, and Somin was letting BM do what he wanted to the point that his lifestyle killed him. (the messy room in contrast to the neat, classy room are oppostie extremes of basically the same problem) and here the mental ilness takes part. the girls were so in love with them that their brains wouldn't accept that they are dead, so in their minds they still see them as alive, they don't actually know they are dead. I love unusual concepts in kpop, especially sensitive and heavy topics.

I find it really interesting that Somin is like slowly growing crazy because BM is dead even though she keeps denying it and she won’t accept her insanity. Also it’s like Jiwoo is trying to continue the relationship even though J-Seph is dead (while Somin is just trying to preserve BM), and it seems like Jiwoo embraced her insanity right away when J-Seph died. Somin is insane and Jiwoo is sinister

looks like there's a lot of theories to it but i think the clue has to do with 'apego'

Their not really dead it’s a metaphor like Jiwoo/Jseph is a rich couple that wants to keep up appearances and act like they are fine but J.Seph is tired of her(no more affection) and just goes with the flow so he won’t break her heart. Same with BM/Somin she is trying to be affectionate with him but he no longer likes her and ignores her( becomes an alcoholic). Somin starts realizing towards the end that it’s over that’s why she goes crazy and Jiwoo just doesn’t care as long as she has her way(fixing his hair and tie). It’s about toxic relationships that the girls want to try and fix but it has been badly broken. Based on the lyrics I think the girls cheated because they say you’re my everything and why won’t you answer when I call. you’re the only one I love.
